What’s the Job?

 

We’re looking for an enthusiastic all-around maintenance technician to join our team at Logic Locks (Amsterdam Catacombs). You’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving our escape rooms and immersive experiences. This includes:
 

• Basic carpentry

• Repairing props and furniture

• Maintaining technical systems (Arduinos, DMX, speakers, lighting, and Windows PCs)

 

What Do You Need?

You don’t need to be an expert in all of the above things—but you should be curious, resourceful, and eager to learn. This role is ideal for someone technically minded who enjoys solving a wide range of practical and creative challenges and enjoys working in a creative and unusual environment.

 

• Be enthusiastic about learning was is necessary to maintain our systems

• Open to learn the needs of our performers, players, and the operations

• Be reliable, responsible, and able to self-organize your work

• Be available to work flexibly—we are currently maintaining and building a new experience, which means we are working almost every day. However when things are up and running we eventually there will be a rhythm of regular maintenance days. Probably 2 – 3 days per week.

Well-Equipped Facilities
 

You don’t need to have your own tools as you will have access to our spaces and equipment, this means access to:
 

• Our studio in Bos & Lommer (Amsterdam)

• Dedicated workshops at each location (one in the Amsterdam city center, one in Bos & Lommer)

How Will It Work?

​

• First 3–4 months: Work alongside our current technician to learn the ropes

• After that: Gradually take over full maintenance responsibilities

• Minimum 3 days/week

• Compensation: Based on experience

• Contract type: Part-time employment
